Fusion Alliance redesign of Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s Website honored for excellence in Animals/Wildlife
CINCINNATI, OH (March 18, 2009) – Fusion Alliance, a leading Midwest technology consulting firm, today announced that it has been awarded Outstanding Achievement in Website Development by the Interactive Media Awards™ for its work on the Cincinnati Zoo Website. The honor recognizes that the project met and surpassed the basic standards of excellence that comprise the web’s most professional work. The site was honored specifically for excellence in Animals/Wildlife.
The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. In order to win this award level, the site had to meet strict guidelines in each area — an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each quarter.
Amy Baker, Director, Interactive of Fusion Alliance, said, "It's an honor to have our work recognized by the Interactive Media Awards. We’re proud of our work with the Zoo and the positive results they’ve seen with zoo patrons."
“The Fusion Alliance team artfully aligned our goals and budget to create an innovative final product. Their process allowed us to sort and prioritize diverse opinions and goals to create a web design and architecture as well as a new management structure that will allow us to maintain the level of excellence seen at launch,” said Dave Jenike, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of the Cincinnati Zoo. “Fusion Alliance is a strategic partner, whose effort focused the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden's ability to serve our visitors and remain one of the worlds great Zoo's.”
