Doug Brown, CEO and Founder
Doug Brown, CEO and co-founder of Fusion Alliance, has over 26 years of experience in information technology, IT consulting and software products business. He is an entrepreneur with excellent business management, sales and management consulting skills and experience. During his first several years at Fusion, Doug was responsible for the growth of the company managing for sales, marketing, account management and recruiting. Doug has had significant involvement with Fusion's strategic business plan including defining and shaping the core services, targeting and managing the growth, gathering market information, understanding technology trends and defining the company brand.
Doug led Fusion's regional expansion effort by opening the Cincinnati office in 2003, which has grown into an established consulting firm in that market. In addition to his duties with Fusion Alliance, Doug co-founded FUSIONSoft in 2001, a software products company. ComTrac, FUSIONSoft's core product, is a Web-based commodities management system, which has also had significant success and growth since its inception.
Julie Kimmel, Managing Partner – Cincinnati
Julie Kimmel joined the Fusion Alliance executive team in June of 2003 to drive Fusion's expansion and establish a client base in the Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky markets. She has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology consulting and business management. Julie currently leads critical operational activities for Fusion's Cincinnati office including business development, strategic planning, solution delivery, and recruitment. Julie promotes a customer-centric business model with emphasis placed on developing long-lasting partnerships rooted in the delivery of solutions that address specific business challenges. She is also committed to fostering an entrepreneurial business culture that promotes innovation, success, and passion for customer service.
Tom Wood, COO, Managing Partner – Indianapolis
Tom Wood joined Fusion Alliance in February 1997. Tom has a wide range of experience spanning over 22 years in technology consulting, consulting business development and business management. Currently, Tom has day-to-day responsibility for business development, sales and marketing strategy, solution delivery, and recruiting for the Indianapolis office. Tom is also involved in Fusion's overall strategic business planning. Prior to joining Fusion Alliance, Tom helped build two large consulting organizations, one a start up company and the other a branch office for a large national firm.
